Our first Farmers Market Fundraiser was a success!
We were worried about the weather but God was watching out for us. It rained a little bit before 9 am, right before the farmers market opened, and then started coming down in buckets at 1:58 pm right as we were closing down the event.
Our hot food booths were a hot commodity. They were busy with customers all day and no one left without a brat, hot dog, or nachos.
The non-food booths sold many different items from local sources. Talented seamstresses were selling artistic bibs, aprons, and onesies. As well as booths for locally made all-natural bug spray, sun block and lotions.
Many seedling and small plants were offered, courtesy of our Youth Group. We will also be selling the produce from our Youth Group Garden at the weekly farmers market once they come into season.
We were able to fundraise approximately $10,500 (gross). With more advertising and marketing we believe we can beat that for our next farmers market.
Thank you to all who donated to our fundraising event! We could not have done it without your support.
Next Farmers Market Fundraiser: 06/06/2020
Our next farmers market will have fresh pelmeni and crepes available. Please come out to support the Holy Trinity School. The money we fundraise helps us lower tuition, fund the remodel and the youth group. We will see you there!
